Hi All,

got Lenovo P780 device 7 days ago

very good device by all means

the concern i have
on the device Internal storage is 4GB divided in to 2.14 (for system/integrated apps) and 1.46 for files/ other apps etc
the 2.14 GB partition is only 700 MB free
the emails when configured take almost all the space along with application updates
i have moved all the non system/movable apps to SD card still space is less
is there any way we can merge these two partitions in to one 4GB partition

Perhaps, if you can root it. Also, if you gain root you can delete some of the non-essential system apps you don't use.

already done
rooted
deleted and moved all the apps i could but only 120 mb free space in internal and reducing

is there are way to merge the internal and built-in storage

so it becomes 4GB driver all the additional/non system data and apps are already in SD

Hi, just got my P780 yesterday and having the same issue.
When you are charging your phone, does the battery become really hot?

I wants to know in settings-> storage is there option to change default memory to sd card or memory card.

Hi Guys,

I just got my p780 few days ago, great phone, mine came rooted with Chinese languaged system underneath Android.

However I messed the phone up and it refuses to boot past the "Lenovo for those who do" intro screen.

None of the Hard Factory Reset options used for other Lenovo Smartphones have worked, any ideas?

I was wondering how to root a p780 .. I've tried to look up and I couldn't lastly I have downloaded Framaroot ..it shows error #6 and in other versions #9 .. your help is appreiated

it is not possible to root p780 with Framaroot if it has 4.4.2 android installed as I read on Framaroot forum page

I tried it and got error #9 for all three root option (boromir etc)
