Just wondering if anyone else has observed this, or if I have a defective camera button.
When I launch the camera app using the app icon, I get the fully functional camera interface (see first screenshot). It has buttons for both photo and video, it has the Gallery photos icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and if I hold down on the physical shutter button I get the continuous shooting functionality.

However, if I launch the camera (e.g., from a homescreen) by holding the physical shutter button, the phone launches a much less functional camera interface (see second screenshot). The video button is missing, there is no Gallery photos icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and, most annoyingly, the continuous shooting function (holding the physical shutter button down) doesn't work!

I would expect the camera interface/functionality to be the same regardless of whether I launch the app via the touchscreen or the physical button. Am I missing something? Does anyone's/everyone's phone behave the same way?
Thanks
