Probably won't get mine delivered they tried to charge mine and it wouldn't go through due to I had to cancel that card after we used it in the Verizon store to purchase my wife IPhone 5s and we believe someone stole the number for their paypal and restaurants the following day. We usually pay by check but the guy told us there was no place for checks just credit cards and cash. When I questioned him that usually checks are put under cash payment he stated they didn't do that anymore.

What's weird is that I have the exact same "Order Status" as posted in the screenshots above, but I haven't been yet charged (and I don't have enough money on my credit card either).

I don't think you guys need to go into full panic mode yet....as long as they ship out by tomorrow you should have them by Thursday. I'll be grabbing mine at my local store Thursday morning, to me this option was always easier than preordering, plus ill have it first thing in the morning vs waiting around for whenever FedEx shows up.

you don't have to "wait on the doorbell" these days...if either FedEx or UPS is delivering the pkg, BOTH have a "Delivery My Way" option and if you sign up, anytime a pkg is due you can have them "hold it @ facility" and just go pick it up at your convenience : )

I now have a tracking number from FedEx out of Memphis, TN (0042-VZW Mem-DF Exp) .... delivery is for 10/10

They will ship the 8th, by Fedex, and get delivered on the 10th. Thats been SOP for Verizon over many introductions and pre orders.

FYI, before you waste your time going to a store on the 10th. Best Buy is charging more for upgrade. They will not sell any at retail prices, until the amount of inventory builds up. And they wont match any VZW price, including waiving activation fee. i am just sayin'.

Here's more info to share.

Have a shipping advice from Fedex for my VZW order. It says expected ship date is today, 10/8 with delivery on 10/10. Note that I've obtained this via Fedex Delivery management service, not via VZW directly (although I'm sure I'll get a tracking number from them eventually).

As you can see, also states its shipping out of Memphis and that this is just a "pre-ship" status for right now.

OR you can just do what I do... since I know I will be working, I simply hand write a note that says I authorize them to leave the package at my door.. that way I get it!! Thought that's also because I have a nice neighborhood and the billions of packages I get have never been stolen *knock on wood*

I too have my tracking number, via the Verizon preorder status page, and shipping from Memphis tonight for delivery on Thursday. Hopefully it will be early in the day being a business address.
