I tried to do a search for this but couldn't find anything... anyone had any luck with HBO GO? It's not available on the market so I guess it's not compatible with ICS.

The Watch ESPN app still doesn't work which is odd because last night I could watch ESPN through the browser.

I meant to reply to this a while ago I apologize.

1) go to HBO.com you can get the app there

2) It only works if you are a subscriber to HBO you have to verify it through your cable account

I hope this helps it was a great app when I worked for the cable co. and got it for free ;)

Question: I hear people love Nova Launcher for this phone, but I can't find it in Market. Is it the same as Go Launcher EX? If not where do you get Nova Launcher?

I wondered the same thing... why so many used "Tapatalk"... I am going on blogs almost daily to learn about everything from battery issues to apps... so I tried "Tapatalk" and now I understand the why... so much easier to look at forums etc! Thanks again to all the bloggers!:))))

I wondered the same thing for a long time. "why pay for an app when I can do the same thing on my phone for free?"

Try it out you will not be disapointed, worst case scenario if you dont like it get a refund.

Tapatalk is free if you get it from getjar.com

When I try searching for Tapatalk using getjar.com I find this app called Convo. I also tried to go to getjar.com and follow the directions using the quick download method but it says that there is no compatible version for google galaxy nexus. Am I doing something wrong? Any other way to get tapatalk free?

That's funny. I still have it in my apps but search the long and short way turns up nothing. Let me try again.

I would like to see an app where you could, say, upload various locations of either police speed traps or cameras in your city/area, based on the idea that you saw either the officer or camera and could upload that info. Then your phone would notify you when you are approaching a known area using your gps. Probably not legal...

I just got Remote for iTunes ($3). For anyone playing their iTunes library using Apple TV or the Airport Express this is great. I have it on my iTouch (free from the App Store) too. You can select and play anything and control which system is playing (or play both at the same time) and volumes. Works great.

What apps are out there that will let me monitor which apps are running in the background keeping my phone awake when the screen is shut off? I loose a lot of battery life because my phone "is kept awake" because of some application(s) and i dont know what apps are causing it. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone noticed that Light Flow (Lightflow) is using 20MB RAM? It is a 1.5MB app.
Is there anyway to reduce that? Maybe disabling notification monitoring for stuff that we don't need to monitor?

Could be one of those types of apps that you need to go into Settings/Manage Apps/LightFlow and clear the data/cache on it from time to time as it builds up...

Ok, as of now, according to SystemPanel Lite, it is at 46.10MB Resident, 34MB effective.
Thanks for your suggestion, but it has only been running for 1 hour or so..
Do you have any suggestion for light notification app? I just want a red blinking light for my e-mail notification and Low-batt notification. That's all.

Got some awesome app ideas from this thread thanks guys. Also here is my must have app list.

Chomp SMS for messaging
Pandora, Tune-In Pro and Music Download Pro for music apps
Docs to go for my word and excel docs
Andy-83 for my calculator
Amazon app store for the daily free paid apps
Jetflicks and MX Video Player(since ICS doesn't seem to play avi files) for my movies and tv shows
Wireless Tether, Titanium Backp and Superuser for rooted purposes
Sportacular for sport scores.
Memo Pad for quick notes
Angry Birds (all three), Cut the Rope, Peggle, WordFued, Homerun Battle 3D and Where's my water at for games.

Calculations - The calculator that should be the standard for ICS devices. Comes with a full-featured calculator, measurement and currency converter, mortgage calculator, and even a tipping calculator. Worth every cent!

Vlingo - Think Siri except without all the little quirks. Comes with a nice car mode too.

Flixter - Great for getting movie showtimes and tickets.

MoreQuicklyPanel - Amazing add-on to the pull-down notification panel. Activate stuff like WiFi, airplane mode, bluetooth, screen brightness, battery life, and GPS much faster than having to navigate your settings.

Mixology - For when you're looking to try some new adult beverages. Almost 8000 drink recipes, plus you can input the alcohol/juices you have on hand and shows you all the possible drinks you can make with what you have available. Desperately needs an ICS update though.

Pulse - My go-to news app. Shows multiple news outlets at once in a clean, swipe-centric interface.

Wolfram Alpha - Think an encyclopedia on steroids. Does word definitions, advanced mah calculations (like integrated calculus), and can dig up information on almost anything you tell it to look for.

Stumble Upon - The best way to kill time ever. Just download it.
