Let's post the common terminology

Let's post the common terminology please. I just don't know the proper way to describe the problems i want to discuss. For instance, Bricking? does this mean the phone is completely dead, or will removing the battery and reinserting it will start it up again? or is that called something else? My phone will Freeze up for a while but will be alright after time. It will also freeze up but will require a battery removal to revive it. Sometimes an app seems to be the cause but other times the phone seems to freeze all by it self. what are the terms we should use to describe things? :-\

"Bricked" is when your phone will no longer boot up or not turn. Usually this can be fixed b reflashing your software with Odin.

What you're describing is just freezing.

Another term that baffles me is "force close." Is that an action I am supposed to do, or the result when a program fails to do something expected?

refers to when a program closes itself, a box pops up and says something about sorry the program had problems and had to force close.
