Wow thanks for sharing. Can't wait to get mine. Sold out everywhere and one place said they never even received inventory but for some reason everybody has the regular 6. I'm being extra patient this time and getting the one I want. Some night shots![]()

I just messed around with the camera again at Best Buy and the portrait mode is downright comical sometimes which shows that Google needs to update the camera software. I feel like my 3a takes better portrait mode shots at the moment. The cutouts look way too noticeable. However, using the 4x telephoto for portraits is so so good. Natural bokeh blur with no artificial mistakes or processing. Except for times when I can't physically step back I would never use the dedicated portrait mode until Google pushes out an update. The model at Best Buy said there was an update available too. Has anyone else received one recently?
The latest update is only the one for November which had some improvements and I agree the best pic to take is with the regular camera not portrait there really isn't at this time. A reason to use portrait when the regular shooter does a great jobI just messed around with the camera again at Best Buy and the portrait mode is downright comical sometimes which shows that Google needs to update the camera software.
