Dentist day! I got some good shots using the telephoto too when it kicked in.

Tonight's sunset deserved a better photographer, but I'm happy with the results. And yep, that's exactly what it looked like.

Astrophotography mode still blows my mind - that's nothing like what it looked like to the naked eye!

Very nice sunset....
Looking over that photo again, I have to disagree with your statement. Not sure if another photographer, even with equipment better than a P6P could do much better. Sure some filters might add flare (not light flare), but that photo is what the human eye is seeing and that is what a camera needs to capture.

Pictures like I'm seeing in this thread, caused me to head over to google the other day and place another order for a P6P. Supposedly here Dec 17-18...hope so, but won't hold my breath. Looking at this sunset. makes me glad I did.

On our way from a vacation in Italy, maybe two hours after departure from Rome, a flight attendant came up to me and told me to come up to the crew area (we were sitting right behind it) to look out to the left where we had a Delta flight closer than he's ever seen before. Windows were tinted blue and he reduced the tinting for me but still not very satisfied with the shot I got bit probably the best I'll ever get. I was pretty rushed, seatbelt signs were on so I didn't want to delay much, maybe 15 seconds. Could not view from my wife's seat as the engine blocked the view. Shot at 4x.

And a rather dull but interesting picture of leaves dying out on a bush x4 zoom

So I stole a few photos this morning at work. Really great day for testing it out especially the telephoto. I had a short time of fun in between work today.

And I shot this one using ProShot in manual mode. The focus was very tricky to land and I still slightly missed it. But not bad given this was taken with the telephoto using manual focus.
