How do you stop them from melting?

Sunrise is getting later everyday. The sun would be above the horizon not that long ago.

That's just the camera too, no filters, and it looked pretty much the same in real life. How do you NOT get the camera out when you see that?

There have been too many times when I've seen that kind of sky while driving, so it's just too dangerous to fiddle with the phone to snap a shot.:-\

This! I've totally pulled over just to capture something. Just a couple of times but it's happened.

I wanted everyone to meet Sadie, our newest pup, who we adopted from a local shelter on Saturday. She's a 3 year old hound mix, I'm thinking perhaps coonhound? We've certainly learned her distinctive bark over the past day. She's getting along with all our other critters, and is even crate trained for nighttime sleeping.

Gaining Sadie is great, but it came on the heels of a tragic loss for our family. Our beloved Lucille busted through our fenced yard late one night, probably after a deer, a rabbit, or a squirrel, and was loose for 16 hours. She lost her collar during her roam, which made it tougher for her to be returned to us. We looked half the night for her to no avail. By the time we got her back, we realized she had been hit by a vehicle. We rushed her to an emergency vet, but she had a heart attack, and CPR didn't help. We really miss this sweet girlie.
