Let's talk about the Nexus 6.

Like it!. Screen, speakers, camera, stock android, 5.1 are all +++!

I would have preferred a 5.5 inch screen or a tad bit slimmer if it was my call.

Will probably try out a galaxy S6 next month but will keep my Nexus regardless.

Did 5.1 improve battery life? Many devices still on 5.02 are suffering at the moment!

I am constantly changing phones and had a Note 4 before my N6. I have to say that this is seriously the best Android experience I have ever had.

Hands down the best phone I've had. I started with an LG Banter Touch to a S3 to an S5. I love the size, speakers, battery life. Android update has been awesome.

It did for me and many others.
Can go all day on a charge, if needed.
I try and keep it topped up, but I am not afraid to go on if I cannot get it charging.

Mav.

I completely agree with this article. I love the size of the N6 when I am using to to kill time or type or other fun smartphone stuff, but hate the size when I am carrying it around or in specific one-handed situations. Its cumbersome to say the least. The other night I watched a movie trailer on youtube and was once again wowed by the front facing dual speakers.. I have no real qualms with the camera. I bought Manual Camera I think the app is poor at the moment but I like the potential it has. I also love rooting/flashing so the nexus line is as good as it gets from that perspective. I have no issues with 5.1 but I had no issues with 5.0 either.. There is a learning curve and some preferences that I would like to see changed, but those aren't bugs by any means.
I am glad that I dropped the Droid Turbo and got the N6 last December even with its few flaws I wouldn't trade it for anything out there at the moment.

I've gone from a Blackberry Storm to the Droid X to the Galaxy Nexus. Then I left Verizon to go prepaid with the Nexus 4, then got an N5. After toying with getting a Moto X I decided this last week to get the Nexus 6.

I never saw the pre-5.1 days with the N6, but in my short time with it I'm impressed with the battery life, I love the camera, the screen is slightly over-saturated but otherwise wonderful. The size is large but I'm almost used to it already. The speakers are amazing, the speed is great, and while I was spoiled by the N4 and N5 prices I can't really complain about the N6 price when compared to other phablets.

I know the Note 4 and iPhone 6 plus win in one or two areas (battery life on the N4, color reproduction and camera on the i6+), but on the whole this is the device for me.

This is hands down my best phone so far! I went from the Blackberry 8830, 9650 and then went to android with a Galaxy Nexus. Dilly dallied with a SGS3 and Note 4 but this is still.my best phone. I absolutely love the size of it. Huge screen and pretty damn slim also for its size. The camera is awesome which is great because I consider myself.an amateur photographer. And the battery life allows me to last all day if I'm careful. Awesome phone on an awesome carrier (vzw) equals this happy guy

I switch phones a lot myself. I find in Allah's coming back to my nexus 6. Note 4 is good and I own one. Droid Turbo is solid and I own one. S5 on lollipop is good as well and I own one. After all that it's my nexus with me most days at work and I find myself able to use it all day.

The size is definitely the biggest of them all. I find it easier to carry all day than even me beloved Note 4. The Note 4 and it's S pen are pretty good too. I still find my nexus is my go to Device

I found it somewhat unbelievable that the article didn't mention the massive random reboot issue.

Maybe because that was an issue before 5.1.
Are you still having having the problem since the update? Is so, I'd warranty the device.

No but hundreds in the GPF thread still are. 5.1 didn't fix it. AC articles really never address any real concerns.

I had the problem and ordered a replacement. We think somewhere in the phone a memory/RAM chip broke.

Just got mine, coming from a Galaxy S4, I'm getting used to this big screen. The phone is awesome! Loving the speakers!

The device has certainly grown on me and 5.1 improved battery life for me.

Also I've never experienced any reboot issues.

I absolutely love my Nexus 6. I was contemplating switching from the Nexus 6 to the S6, but I decided not to after realizing there'd be way too many compromises (such as a smaller screen, the smaller battery, TW, the battery issues with the S6, etc., etc.).

The only thing that may take me way from the Nexus 6 would be the LG G4 or the new Nexus device when it releases later this year.

Any tip for shooting night pictures without flash?

I was going to hold on to my moto x 2013 until the end of the year, but since Verizon dropped the on contract price I decided to give it a try.

Good camera, good battery, 5.1 is smooth, speakers are good, although this doesn't matter much to me, the large screen makes a lot of things possible without putting down the phone and picking up a tablet or laptop.

It's still difficult to handle. I have a fly grip coming, we'll see how it goes. It may still go back.
