I have been fairly outspoken about my opposition to screen protectors. for the most part they do nothing but ugly up your phone by adding weird textures, collecting dust, etc. however, one of my biggest pet peeves with my dinc is how oily the screen has gotten. So that said I'm trying to find one that fits my needs, and any help would be appreciated.
I've used phantom skinz, and while they had very little orange peel, it was still somewhat sticky. I will probably go for best skins ever this time since they sell a skin that doesn't include a screen protector. if you know any other brands that do that, let me know. I definitely want to put some protection on my gnex because it is made of plastic, after all.
The reason I don't want to include a screen protector is that I hate orange peel. I would get the Steinheil oleophobic (if i spelled that right) screen protector because it seems like exactly what I want, except it doesn't cover the screen fully. according to SGP this is because a DRY application will cause bubbles on the edge of the curved screen. this doesn't make sense, since the protector should be flexible enough to follow that gentle curve. So that means I need a wet install, i guess. but I also want one that isn't made of the same material as invisible sheild. I don't really care if it is less durable, as long as its smooth to the touch.
tl;dr Know of any wet install screen protectors that have ZERO orange peel and/or are made of a different material?
