New LG Smartphone Is A Lighter, Smaller Nexus 6 - Forbes

LG G3 Screen: 157.8 x 81.8 x 9.5 mm (6.21 x 3,22 x 0.47-in) and 182g (6.42 oz)
Motorola Nexus 6: 159.3 x 83 x 10.1 mm (6.27 x 3.27 x 0.40-in) and 184 g (6.49 oz)

Goes with a 5.90" screen vs the N6's 5.96". LG comes w/ removable battery, support for up to 128GB Micro SD... but is 1080P in IPS vs 1440P in AMOLED.

Meh, I'll stick w/ the N6. Not a fan LG from my experience with their non-Nexus products and they way they supported them.

Nice. Should have called it the "LG core+". Also should have had those front facing speakers. But they should have only used colors that the new nexus isn't using. Maybe LG should have used red, indigo blue and lime green for colors. They obviously are gonna make this thing all "half-cocked". Go big. Make this slap in the face count, so to speak. NO CARRIER BLOATWARE.

Interesting. I feel like I got so badly burned by updates on my G2x, I'm still afraid of a non-Nexus LG, though.

However, I don't mind the 1080 screen at all. When I compared my 720 Note 2 with a Note 4, I couldn't really see the resolution difference. I think 1080 would be fine for me, and I'd take the extended battery life over the negligible difference in resolution.

Aside from the price Nexus LG are probably the lowest in my list if I rate all the Nexus phones. I feel even the Samsung Nexus were better quality. Motorola is going to be the best of them imo.

I hope LG doesn't try to compete with Samsung with a stylus. They'll likely just give themselves an opportunity to fail.
