LG Bridge

I have a model LS993 (sprint version). Does anyone else have a problem using LG Bridge? I can connect using LG Airdrive but when I try to connect to Lg Backup, it doesn't recognize my phone. I have it connected it via USB and selected "File Transfer" but I get nada.

i have the same issue...i think its locked down from the carrier or something. i have been unable to find a resolution to the problem here or over at xda

yeah, I've looked on xda as well as tried to search around other places. I couldn't really find anyone talking about it which was making me think maybe it was my phone or maybe sprint phones. I know you can back up to your SD card using your phone, but it's strange that they would lock you out from backing up or checking for updates through your computer. Anybody on other carriers had any success with LG backup?

But how is that possible guys ? Do you unlock your phone after connecting it to the pc, bridge ?

Yeah I tried everything I can think of, even tried going activating developer options and then turning on debugging for USB. But it refuses to recognize my phone. It does recognize it on "air" but when I select the "backup" tab, it is no longer recognized. What carrier do you have devaa?

Do you unlock your phone while connecting it to the pc ? Il try connect the phone to the bridge without unlocking the phone. Then ill post you a picture.

ive tried unlocking my phone while its connected and having the phone unlocked. ive also tried running the bridge app in administrator mode.

So phone was by default on MIDI device, and the photo of bridge is what was shown, device was locked when connected. Sorry for not putting screenshoot. And after i chose data transfer ( or as you can see Prijenos datoteke ) phone connected normally to the bridge.

I didn't do anything special. Phone is unlocked. I switched to file transfer when I connected and all works fine.

ah...its probably because its unlocked
