LG G Pad 8.3 GPE or Galaxy Tab S 8.4

Hi all,

I'm interested in purchasing a mid-sized Android tablet this weekend. Expansys currently has the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition for $225. Staples is running a 15% off coupon on all electronics, which would bring the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 down to $340. Does anyone have any input as to what would be the better purchase? If I went with the Galaxy Tab S 8.4, I plan to root and install CyanogenMod once available, so from the software side, there wouldn't be much difference. Do you think the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is worth an extra $115?

Probably not. The main benefit of the Tab S is the screen, but it's not like the G Pad has a bad screen either. I'd go with the G Pad.
