LG G Watch R - No watch Faces

[AC Question]

I recently got the LG G watch R and paired it to my LG G4. You're supposed to have a watch faces area in the android wear app under the watch picture. However that option is completely missing, just has the new apps area there. Tried to reset/resync countless times both the phone/app and the watch. Still nothing. Would like to be able to use custom watch faces. How do I fix this?
