LG G watch refurbished on woot yesterday

I had just bought a pebble because I couldn't get the LG at the price I wanted. The next day woot had the LG for 80. So I picked it up and will be selling my pebble. I am excited to get this watch.

Enjoy the watch. I love mine and so happy I bought it. So many watch faces to pick from.

I got my watch a couple of days ago but it does not work correctly. I get some cards but nothing is syncing to the watch. I downloaded Wear Apps Tracker and it says No app installed on your wearable device. I believe my problem is my Software version and build number. Here is what it says

What does everyone else have for this?
 
Multiple factory resets give me the same build.

Just checked my watch, build is LDZ22D
Android OS 5.1.1
Which version of android does it say your running?

I wonder if maybe your watch is rooted? That could prevent OTA's from taking but you should still be prompted that an OTA is available for download.
 
Thanks for the info. I have not received any notifications of the update. Software version just says kkwt. Came to me factory reconditioned.

And although the watch shows as connected in Android Wear app, the watch image does not appear and wear app tracker says nothing has been sync'd

Something in there is wrong, but I just can't put my finger on it :(
Sux, you just got your watch & can't enjoy it :(
I'll see if I can't figure out what's going on ;)
Try forgetting the watch in the ware app & then uninstall the app. factory reset the watch once more and then reinstall the app and see if they connect properly and update
 
Got mine from Amazon Woot too and I can't even see the apps I have installed for my watch. First app I tried was Watch face , then Wear Mini Launcher.

I've reset the watch twice and uninstalled the apps. Damn thing won't sync!

So I tried running the android wear notifications tutorial and the only thing that worked was the incoming call. No weather alert showed , not stocks alert.

This is ridiculous!

They call them refurbished, but now I wonder if they even examined the devices before pushing them back out to the public?? :(
 
Do you guys have a warranty of any sort ?

Well the Start guide says,

1. The limited warranty for the product extends got TWELVE (12) months beginning on the date of purchase of the product with valid proof of purchase.
2. The limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser /end user.
3. This warranty is good only to the original purchaser of the product during the warranty. As long as it is in the US. Including Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and Canada.

Since I bought this product refurbished on an online website, I'm not sure if I'll be able to go into LG store tomorrow to figure out what's going on or if I could get an exchange.

*UPDATE*

I'm in an online chat with LG right now, and it will need to be repaired, but it will NOT be under warranty since it is refurbished.

Just talked to lg purchased mine new but checked to make sure it was under warranty I am covered still unfortunately refurbished has no warranty or tech support from LG.
 
Last ditch attempt here, try the hard reset button on the back of the watch. it's the little silver button above the four charging contacts. try taking a paperclip and pushing it in until your watch resets. probably won't help but worth a shot for some of you guys.

Done that Multiple times, still didn't work. Waiting for Agent to send me my Return Label email.
 
Update: I finally got around to calling LG Wireless and they said since the free shipping label that was provided to me was a different tracking number then what was in their system. I used FEDEX to drop it off and so what a mess. Anywho they are going to find the package, which is Inside their facility and repair the watch then send it back to me.
