Will the battery life be on par of what the Note 2 can accomplished?

The chipset is more efficient, but the screen will draw more power...should be interesting to see.

The chip claims to draw less power but the screen will be a big drain. The battery is big though so I'm really hoping for some great battery life.

Just curious - why will the screen on the G2 drain battery faster than the screen on the Note 2 And how did the G2 make its chipset more efficient than the Note 2?

I believe the following is how it breaks down...
IPS Display technology can be likened to PLASMA displays but for the Mobile world draining more than AMOLED.
Snapdragon 800 uses less power than 600 which could translate to improved battery life.

1080p is harder to push than 720p. It'll use more processor for video playback.

Depends on the situation. In normal use, it will be about the same since the advantages of AMOLED won't be utilized as much. The G2 also has GRAM, which should theoretically improve battery life.
