lg g2 front camera bad quality pictures

Does anybody else have bad quality pics with the front facing camera? Much worse than iPhone or galaxy s4 when compared, look like very low res or plastic film in front.

That's very weird. I know this may sound silly, but do you have your front facing camera set to the highest resolution?

Also, do you have a micro fiber to make sure the lens is squeaky clean? One smudge on any lens can ruin the image quality.

If everything else was done, there's a good chance that your room lighting isn't optimal. The tiny lens doesn't handle low light environments well. If your lighting is good, and everything was checked, you could have a faulty device.

Do you have Beauty Shot enabled? I noticed with the front camera it can be pretty harsh and ruin the photo.

I agree with this fellow here, if you look at that truck, you can see the details pretty clearly, as you go further away it loses focus and blurs. My guess is front facing camera has a fixed (or fixed within a limited variable for close distance) focus. Can you try taking more pictures in better lighting, disabling all enhancements, with lens cleaned well, under good light conditions (preferably outside in the sun) to see if there is really any problem with your camera.
