LG G2 - GPS or AGPS

Is this supposed to be GPS capable or just assisted GPS? I was out in the boonies recently and it had no idea where I was. Obviously when I got back to coverage area, it picked up again.

It has GPS, A-GPS, and GLOSNASS. Poor GPS functionality was a common complaint for this phone when it first came out. More recent updates seemed to have fixed the problem though.

Most GPS and Navigation maps are streamed thru the internet, they are not saved to your phone like a car gps. If you have no Internet connection your phone will have no map to display. There are some paid apps in the market that allow you to download and save maps for no cell service GPS map use.
