Totally agree with you, I doubt they will act fast, because they want to sell newer devices that run newer OS.

You don't need to use then to make a decision but they are still a good way to measure if your phone is actually working well compared to others with same device.
If your benchmark results are constantly half of what others on same device is getting, that's a good indication you need to fix something that's bogging the phone down.

Meenova quite an interesting product, but the price too steep for just an micro sd card reader, and no free shipping really make the price even higher (+$3). This is really a deal breaker for me.

Is there another one we can get, honestly I would love to carry one in my bag in case of emergency or if I just want to watch a long movie on the flight, like I can stuff 10 movies in 32GB microSD i have and it would be awesome. We should check out meritline, etc.. for cheap chinese micro SD readers..
Also it would be a good way to transfer videos that we shot in order to empty some space on the phone for more videos.

I bought a otg card reader from eBay for ?1.21. Worked very well on my G2, intil it broke. Very flimsy and the dust cap never stayed on. There are others cheaper, but i thought I'd go for quality this time!

Take a look at the Meenova. It's not quite free but its a good little mSD reader.

Already done, ordered one as soon as the old one broke. I did get the original one as a test to see if it worked. Was originally going to get the meenova, but thought ?1 was cheap enough to check if it worked well enough first.
