LG G2 vs the note 3

I am debating between these 2 phones.

Biggest difference the note 3 wont be tri-band where the g2 will.

What do you guys think

Tough call perhaps? If you want Super-Sized most-versatile you may select the Note 3. If you want something a little easier to wield one-handedly you may wanna rock the G2. Also may depend on if you have a tablet already. If so you may want to opt for the G2, if not perhaps the Note 3. I love hearing different phone owner's perspectives on these things.

For me the N3 is just a bit too big and I want the Tri-Band LTE so it it the G2 for me all the way.

Ya I leaning toward the g2, I want the tri-band support as well. It is a shame that the note 3 will only support 1900 for lte.

I currently have a Note 2 and a Note 8, and am tempted to upgrade to the Note 3, but am leaning towards the G2.

What I have found is that using the stylus on the Note 8 feels comfortable, but using it on the Note 2 feels cramped. There just isn't enough size to rest my hand comfortably to really take advantage of the S Pen on the Note 2, compared to the Note 8. I still use the S Pen for other purposes, but more because it's there than because I need it. (Full disclosure, I'm a lefty who hooks while writing). The only real advantage of the Note 2/3 is that I could start a S Note on my phone and continue it on my tablet later. But, I'm an Evernote user as well, and they are expanding hand notation functions, so that might not be a big deal moving forward.

Actually, I'm also tempted to just wait for the Galaxy S5. I'm tired of being on the second tier for cases and such (Lifeproof, I'm looking at you), and I feel more confident that the S5 will have the kind of accessory support that I'd like to enjoy.

Just found out that G2 has triband support. Was really conflicted, weighing pros and cons. Just want one device, no tablet, so was leaning towards N3 until G2 came out. Tough.

Sold my HTC One, have already decided on the LG G2 on launch day. Was hoping for a October release, but oh well...

At this point even the iPhone 5S is a better option with dual band.

i will say, i wish i would have waited for the LG2 to come out...i got the note 3...and got it in portland or where the signal was great. i live in longview washington, and the bars went from full to 1 bar to none. on top of that the 4G and 3G keep swapping back and forth and can't keep a steady signal while at home (good thing for wifi) but at my work thats a mill i get solid 4G and 4 bars. if i had known it was single band i would have waited. sorry but im not trolling but telling others what kinda problem i have been experiencing since getting this phone.

My Note 3 bought off contract from BB is being exchanged (with money back) for a G2 tomorrow. Just came from the store and held it...but they can't sell it to me till tomorrow
Done dealing with the signal and call issues and the 4G to 3G hand off issues I have been living with since I got the Note 3 on release day.

The g2 may not be an immediate fix. Triband support is to be enabled in q1 on all of these handsets.

Took advantage of the 14 day return option. I had the Note 3 for ten days and turned it back for the Life's Good G2. The Note had very poor audio fidelity. Listening to music is very important to me and I hated the Note so much I would not plug it into my car system. Also I was in the middle of some trees when a friend called. I answered, we spoke a few words, and then my phone disconnected. We did this three times until I moved from trees. My old HTC EVO 4G never dropped a call. In the same place.
The Note is a good phone with a lot of storage. The stylus is a cool feature, but actually I have little use for it.
It is hard to explain, but the LG just feels faster and better integrated. Even though the Note has the stylus, the G2 feels like a higher tech product. To me. I like the buttons on the back. Twenty minutes of using the buttons on the back and the buttons on the side would seem archaic. The audio fidelity on my LG2 is "night and day" better than what was on that particular Note 3. The knock-knock feature has only failed to work one time and that was my fault. I usually tap with a finger nail.
It cost a $35 restocking fee and a new $35 activation. That gripes me, but I am happy I did it.
