LG G3 Email Issues Now On 5.0 Lollipop (Best app for 5.0?)

Hey guys,

My wife and my G3s updated to Android 5.0 yesterday.

All of the sudden our mail programs stopped working correctly.

I use MailDroid and she uses K9. We also updated to the newest versions since they wouldn't work at all right after the update.

The issue we're both seeing is that the only way in both apps to get email is to manually refresh them. When the phone is inactive we never get notifications and mail is never checked.

I also set both apps priority, didn't help.

Any ideas?

If not, what's a good 5.0 email app? Need to use multiple accounts over IMAP.

Why not try the app that comes with the OS, that would be Gmail it now does multiple accounts in both POP and IMAP.

I've had no issues using AquaMail on several devices with 5.0. Extremely configurable email client. My favorite by far.
