LG G3 has terrible reception.

also if you go into engineer mode, you can change the lte band which is specific to your country, and guys this helps, on my lg g3 international i type in 3845#*855# then lte then rat, then band mine is set to band 5 for the uk, good luck

I have the bad luck to have a combination of bad receiption by hardware and the SW (firmware?) bug. For latter a workaroung could be to switch from preffered 3G/4G to preffered 2G/3G.
At least I do rather sacrifice a bit of my data transfer rate instead of having no receiption at all because my phone hangs while looking for a carrier.
