LG G3 Incompatible apps

Why would some apps such as AT&T messages, Microsoft office and One Note, not be able to be downloaded from the app store? They say my phone isn't compatible with this version. This phone isn't on some brand new version of android or anything.

Hi guys, there's another thread I've just posted on specifically about the Amazon app and the workaround is to install Amazon's own app store app then get the Amazon app from their app store. Made me appy haha!
Implies that only stuff from Google play is checked for compatibility issues even where there are none.
A popular theory is the screen resolution is causing certain apps to flag as non compatible.

Those apps work fine on my Sprint G3...
