I've had my LG G3 for about 18 months and had one message chain going since then. Until about a month ago. Suddenly, everything prior to a few weeks is gone. Also, I now "lose" messages in a group messaging as I go along. For example, messaged with 2 other people over the course of about 30 minutes. Went back to look at the original message and - it's gone. As is half of the chain.
There's plenty of room on the phone and, with the exception of that one chain, I delete messages within a day.
