LG G3 -- Phone Dead As A Doorknob

So I woke up in the middle of the night,to find my phone completely dead even though it was sitting on the charger. I thought i had perhaps knocked it off and wemt to plug it back in. It didn't turn on to show it was charging and the red led in the corner didnt turn on like usual. I held the power button down and continued to press it till the 0% screen finally showed up. The led in the corner flashed for a few second then went dead and I can't get back to the screeb that shows it's charging.

I have tried a new cord, taking the battery out, a new outlet, and a new charger head but nothing is working. My phone has been sitting on the charger for an hour plus right now and still is showing no hint of life.

I have no clue what happened or what to do. Can someone please help me?

If battery is completely dead for some reason, charging would be impossible.. So, I would bet on battery..

The same thing happen to me. I removed the battery, waited about 20 seconds then reinstalled the battery. I put the phone back on the charger with out turning it on. The red light in top left corner flashed a few times then went steady red. After about two hours of charging, I turned the phone on with no problems and it continues to keep charging.

Same problem, same solution as Larry, worked like a charm.

This happened to me a while back, thought it was battery but turned out to be the phone was just dead. Replaced under warranty
