LG G3 Radio off/No data

Out of the blue I suddenly have no service/data. When making a call I get "radio off" and the error "To place a call, first turn off Airplane mode." but my airplane mode is off. I can't make calls/text or do anything with service.

Things I have tried that did NOT work:

Toggling mobile data
Toggling airplane mode
Turning off airplane mode, reboot phone, turn airplane mode on
Reboot in safe mode
Updating profile
Updating firmware
Soft reset
Turning off phone and waiting 20 minutes, reboot
Turning off phone, taking out battery, pressing power button, waiting 20 minutes, reboot
A new SIM card
Calling Sprint multiple times

I hear that other users who have this issue have flashed a modem(??) and that that can fix the issue but I do not know what that means or how to do it.

Update: The resolution to this issue according to the sprint store is to type ##Update # in the call dialer. Confirmed working.

i have lg stylo 5 it has the same problem
m but include preferred network mode:22
