LG G3: Sprint

Getting closer and closer.
Per a Sprint rep on another forum, they got the launch day G3 shirts in and their training is to be done by the 11th.
So we got that going for us. Which is nice. :)

1 - Sprint's in store G3 training is done on the 11th.
2 - Here in Atlanta, there is an LG "Event" downtown on the 17th.

I can see the 18th being the release day, but that is just my very humble opinion and also my $.02 thrown in for good measure.
We know it will be in July so not that long to wait no matter which day it is. :)

Do we have final confirmation that Sprint is only offering the 2/16? I know that's the prevailing theory...

Well hot damn. My guess was right. :)
I am checking with some of my Sprint contacts on the RAM/Storage question.

That's sweet. Thanks Mav!

Any chance there's a white version also up for grabs?

Looks like I'm staying with Sprint, lol! Honestly, if my data service doesn't improve with this phone, I'll leave and go on my sisters AT&T plan for a little less than what I'm paying now with Sprint. No unlimited though but at least its RELIABLE!!

Thanks for getting and posting this!!!

Only thing left to know is whether contract plans will be offered the $150 preorder rebate (Current rebate form expires 7/10/14). I can't see the G3 costing more than $250 subsidized, meaning ~$100 for this phone. I can't believe it tbh lol :)

All good questions.
We will get this info on the 11th when pre-ordering opens. :)

This is the information that I am waiting for. I am planning on getting this phone and will renew my contract (plan). I want to know if people who are going to renew their plan for 2 years will also be eligible for the $150 rebate.

Might want to have a little chat with your Sprint guy. He seems to think Sprint will be getting the GSM version?

Did you miss CDMA in the photo? Also Sprint phones support GSM 850/900 etc. (seen in the photo), and the 850/1900/2100 MHz UMTS (once again seen in the photo) are also standard for Sprint phones.

I think it's safe to assume you own a G2, based on your avatar. Assuming it's a Sprint G2, look at the back of the box it came in.

Edit - Ohhhhhh you're on T-Mobile. Maybe that's why you weren't aware of all this basic info.

Seems to be a lot missing from that photo, including the model number. And no, UMTS2100 isn't standard for Sprint phones, Sprint doesn't use the 2100 band, they use 800, 1900, and 2500.

Then what's this on the back of my Sprint LG G2 box???

Maverick's photo has no incorrect bands, GSM or UTMS.
