LG G3 What text app are you using?

I've been using textra for months now but it's been getting real buggy when it comes to mms so I'm looking to switch to a new app

What do ya recommend?

I really like the pop-up window feature in the stock app. Otherwise, I would be using Hangouts.

Stock app was functional... but kinda slow and the ui was dated and just not using the real estate efficiently barely able to see more than a couple bubbles of text. Textra seems to move faster and you can see more conversation on the screen. I like having favorite contacts to quickly choose a person i text frequently by just selecting the picture. I am getting use to going to the notification bar to do a quick text. And developer seems to be pushing updates and making little refinements at least once a week lately so sounds if OP has bug, contact developer and maybe he can resolve it.

I noticed one bug when sending a pic by camera saying format not compatible and noticed an update available and updated and haven' seen it since.

Default is fine for me. What else do you need in a texting app

Textra. It really is the best SMS app out there in my opinion. I used to be a diehard Handcent user till it became bloated and slow.

Verizon Messages. Great emojis, can sync to tablet and PC/laptop. You can text from any platform!

I use hangouts and I love it. My wife and brother are also on android and have it installed so it's easier than regular SMS with them

I used to use Textra, until I found EvolveSMS. It is leagues better. I won't go back to anything else!

Textra. No complaints and I found it to be *much* faster than the competitors. I think it was EvolveSMS (but I could be wrong) that had serious lag and loading issues. Speed over function for me.

Use to be a big fan or textra then used hangouts. Ended up finding evolve SMS recently and I'm hooked.

I used to use textra until it started getting buggy and draining my battery like crazy. I switched to evolve sms and haven't looked back. I think I will buy the upgrade to use themes. I heard that evolve used to be slow and laggy but it has been nice and smooth for me. No issues. Loving it.

Went from Go SMS Pro to handcent to evolveSMS. Like evolveSMS the best.

Used handcent for a couple years and realized how slow it was and tried hangouts... Now I am using Vzw messages and it actually works well..
