I've tried all the obvious: Charging for a long time; not charging for a while; taking the battery out and inserting it; taking the battery out for a long time; try volume down & power; tried holding power, etc.
Basically one night it randomly cut off on me and has yet to turn back on again. I've also tried replacing the battery and the new one didn't change anything. Sometimes when I take out the battery and put it back in I can turn it on for a second, it will show the LG logo and go to the verizon logo and cuts off, never make it past that, and this rarely even works. Please help. This has been happening for about 1 and a half weeks.
Oh, and I've also tried plugging it into my PC and nothing came up. Also tried a different charger.

Someone please help, thanks!!!! PLEASE!

How long have you had this phone? I would contact LG customer support online - they are usually quite good in responding quickly. They might advise you to send your phone in for repairs; but the age of your phone/the contract you're on/the price of repairs are all things you'll need to consider. Good luck! Keep us posted!

I am having this issue also. I've had an AT&T G3 D850 for over 2 years and is out of warranty. The odd thing is it just happened out of nowhere. The phone was working great - so great I bought a large battery and new case for it last week. I was sitting on my couch using my LinkedIn app and the screen went black. I hard powered down, booted it up and it's stuck at the LG screen. If I take the SIM card out it will boot to the LG screen, then the AT&T screen. If I try to get into Recovery mode, it wont even turn on. It will however go into Firmware Update Mode. I tried to restore it to Factory via the LG Flash Tool but the Flash Tool can't determine the model of the phone. I have installed the LG drivers and the phone is recognized by my PC in Firmware mode.

Placing the original battery back into the phone has the same results.

These are the directions that I followed. [Guide] LG G3 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Sto… | LG G3

Could this be a hardware issue? I'm having a hard time believing that since it happened out of nowhere. I'd like to restore the phone and at least use it as a backup.

Another question.. Can I load a custom ROM through the Firmware Update option? All I have read so far doesn't talk about it so I assume that answer is no. I thought maybe I could restore the Recovery partition through the Firmware update screen then use a custom Recovery Mode to get a new ROM on there.

Please Help!!! I will contact LG also. Thanks.
