LG G4 Black Screen

My daughters LG G4 just recently went to black screen after the boot up screen. We took it in to see what our options are. They said that it was broke and they needed to order us a new one as we have a warranty. Problem is the guys at Best Buy said they couldn't retrieve all the pictures and videos of my grand baby. For some reason G+ did not back anything up. Is there a recovery program out there I can use or any other options?? All help is appreciated !!

Google doesn't use g+ anymore, they use Photos/Drive. From a laptop or pc, have your daughter log in her google account (I do it from G mail) click app icon (square made of dots) & open photos. If they have been synced, she will see all photos, if not then they did not sync. Another alternative is the freezer trick. there are several threads concerning "boot loop"; there are instructions on getting data off phone by freezing the phone.
