LG G4 H815 Camera Issue

Hello everyone!
I know there are similar threads about this issue, but my problem is not exactly the same, and I have found no solution for it yet.

I recently bought an LG G4 H815 and I'm running the stock ROM for now and overall I am quite satisfied with the phone, except for one issue that sometimes comes up randomly. Sometimes when I start the camera app the screen is black (I can see the camera UI) and then one of 2 things happens: either my phone restarts, or the app closes and I get a "Unfortunately Camera has stopped" message for 3-4 times.

I've been trying to figure out what causes this problem. I should mention that most times the camera works fine. Usually after I force stop the app, clear the app data and restart the phone the app works, but this is not true 100% of the times. I tried using the phone in Safe Mode for a day and kept opening the camera and taking pictures to see if it works. It seemed to be working until finally after 7-8 hours I opened the camera in a bar to take a pic of my friends and it crashed again. I've also done a factory reset of the phone and the same problem persists (although I haven't tried using it before installing my apps). I assume this has to be some kind of software issue since the camera usually works fine. If anyone has any idea on how to figure out what the problem is I would greatly appreciate any advice (I've been searching the internet, found similar problems but no real solution).

Also I am thinking of installing CM13 on my phone, mostly because I had a Oneplus One before this and i really liked the ROM on that one. Does anyone have any opinion on CM13 for LG G4 (what is good, what is bad, what you like/don't like? etc.), and do you think that doing this might fix my current camera issue?

I'm having the exact same issue with my LG G4, was just going to do some research before doing the factory reset.
It only started happening randomly since 2 weeks and I have had my phone for about 5 months now.
It's really annoying and there is no definite solution I can find on the internet.

From the above posts it looks like the LG Smart World updates has caused this issue. Recently I remember when i tried opening the LG smart world it automatically got updated. I thought it was good it was updating.
But the camera not working is annoying. I hope LG is looking at resolving this issue.
