Literally went dark. Was fully charged, not rooted. Plugged in again but no luck. Headed to the tmobile store in a few. Never had or heard of anything like this. I don't know how often google backs up but this will be the test. Luckily I'm at a desktop for the time being...will keep you updated with my trivia.....

Great T-Mobile came through! Stuff happens. I've had electronic devices suffer instant and catastrophic failure. I hope you had your sms and other stuff backed up.

To bad about your phone. Good on Tmo though. Hope it works out. Curious, when did you get your phone? I got mine the day of release in Tmo. Just wondering. I've had a couple of problems, but nothing a factory reset hasn't fixed.

Tardus I'm probably screwed on some of that. Ugh.

Sorry to hear that. When you get your replacement - use SMS Backup & Restore. Set up a nightly backup of sms/mms to the cloud. Google will back up the rest of your stuff as you know (contacts, apps, etc) but not data/media content.

send it to LG than once if you say no this root there should be no problem mine sent it and I have it back in my house.:)

This happens. It's happened to my old HTC one x and my g3. Both were at&t and stock. No answers. Just a replacement

I just had the same thing happen to me today. I was headed to church and I was playing my phone through my car like normal. My phone was fully charged and it's not rooted or anything. Then all of a sudden my phone started rebooting on it's own. Then it just stopped and nothing after that. So after church I went to Verizon to have it looked at. The lady asked me had I dropped the phone because she claims there is a crack on my screen protector. I told her that I had not dropped it and that I was currently using it when everything went crazy. She, somehow, got the phone to turn on (1) time and the screen was scrambled. She says it looks like my screen was cracked but I know that I hadn't dropped my phone.

They are sending off for a new phone but she tells me that if I send them my current phone and they find a crack in the back of the screen that they are going to charge me full price for the replacement phone, which is some bull. So, I'm paying monthly payments to verizon all ready and they are telling me that I am going to have to pay LG for a full phone too? BULL!!!!

I will have to send them my phone and I'm scared because they will have all of my emails, text, and everything from my phone in their possession. I don't like that at all.
