LG G4 - keyboard in way of time (circle) when creating new event in Calendar

[AC Question]

I just got a new LG G4, and the keyboard is in the way when i want to scroll clockwise/anticlockwise to select a time, eg 630. (it literally is overlapping the 6, 30, AM and PM)

i keep hitting "done" on the keyboard, but it remains there.

the only way i can select a time is to click on the time above the round clock, and manually type 6, 30 then "next" (you get to choose the big numbers).

I know that you can re-position the keyboard (when typing a text) either left/right, taller etc, but surely it shouldn't affect the clock setting in calendar - im not writing anything!

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a floating keyboard? What happens if you tap the Back button--does that get rid of the keyboard, but leave the clock setting option there?

unfortunately the keyboard doesnt go, but the clock does! here is a screenshot of the original post
i dont think its a floating keyboard - im sure its just the standard one

Now the date selector is playing up!!

Ive just worked it out - - - when i press back twice, and then attempt to change either the date or time, it works. bit annoying having to do it everytime, but im sure its a glitch that will be fixed eventually.

Glad you found a solution? Curious, what't the down arrow button? Is that to bring down the notification panel, or could it be used to minimize the keyboard?
