LG G4 - new phone- how can I get the Play Store working?

LG G4 - new phone- play store

I just upgraded from a Motorola Razr M to a LG g4. When I click on Play store I get a turning circle on a white screen, and then just a white screen. Is Play store syncing all my prior apps to the new phone automatically and that's what's going on? or what?

I would try to restart the phone. Also try to clear cache and app data on the play store app

This sounds similar to an issue I'm having where occasionally Play stops recognizing my net connection. Everything else connects five, yet Play will either tell me there's no connection, or have a spinning loading circle that just hangs. Clearing the Play app cache will fix this for a while.

I doubt the op's issue is due to reloading apps. Yes, that will slow down Play but the loading circle won't hang indefinitely.
