LG G4 Pre-order vs buying at the store (ATT)

If I pre-order tonight (ATT) does that mean I will receive the phone before it hits the stores on June 5th?

A coin toss but T-Mobile and Verizon are already shipping.

Call customer care and see if they can tell you anything. If you start an order online will it tell you a shipping date (as in "will ship by")?

I tried a chat with them, but they do not even acknowledge that they have any information on the phone's release even though the information is already out in the open.

Typically with ATT preorder you get it a day early or on release day.

I asked this same question to AT&T and they had no idea.
People on reddit who preordered the S6 got it early.

Walked in to a Verizon Corp. store today and they didn't have a clue. Seems to be the path Verizon has taken, lousy customer service prevails..

They usually put it on the website first. Been checking every couple of hours just says "coming soon"

AT&T blog says the plastic ($629) and leather ($669) G4 will be available for same price as Best Buy.

I'm so glad AT&T will have the black leather option. That'll be the one I plan on going with.

Preordered black leather from AT&T online. Got my Email this am saying it will ship June 1st with 2 day FedEx

I tried to order through the AT&T site but it wouldn't let me order the full price phone only, they wanted to force me into a plan. Chat with rep confirmed that. So I went and pre-ordered the same phone on Amazon. I feel much better with Amazon than BestBuy but we will see.

I tried to do the same. I called my local store and they said i could pre order at the store at full price only, not online.

got my s6 4 or 5 days early after preorder. Preordered the M8 and got it 1 day early. Wouldn't be surprised if you preordered now and received it in the middle of the week next week.
