LG G4 Verizon Leather Back

I just did an online chat with Verizon to try and see if they were going to offer the leather back, she told me they hadn't released that information to her department yet. I then told her that Best Buy had them on preorder but only showed the plastic back options for Verizon while the other carriers had leather options, she said that Best Buy may not have all the options and to let her check again. She then came back and said that they would be offering leather and that it would be black. Hopefully she is correct because I really want the leather.

I'd wait and see what they offer further into release but with the changeable backs you will be certain to be able to pick one up later on ebay or something even if VZW decides to not offer one.

Exactly this. I went to Best Buy today and pre-ordered and they only offered a Blue (B) exclusive) and the metallic grey. Didn't offer the white though.

Well if you wait too long you will miss out on the free battery promo. I doubt they will offer any other options for at least a few months.

Yeah I wouldn't wait past the time it's being sold in stores but we have some time for that awesome battery deal it seems.

Just talked to a Verizon customer service supervisor yesterday regarding an account issue and inquired about the G4

He told me LG G4 preorders will be available tomorrow (5/28) and black leather (only option other than grey and white plastic) will be available for $550 retail and leather price will be the same price as plastic

Delivery will be 6/4 (as per the cust service supervisor)

We shall see

I am so pleased to be proven wrong on this one. I was certain Verizon was going to do that Verizon thing where they opt out of the model I most want. But then, I suppose they are doing that Verizon thing to everyone who wanted leather, but not black. So they're still bastards. At least this time I'm not the victim of their dastardly, bastardly behavior!
