Lg g4 very slow charging

after more than a year my g4 served me well but this past few days im having a problem, it charge very slow "collecting battert info" never change, charge time is around 1% for 20 mins or so without using it. any help?

Mine will do that , I turn it off wait about 1-2 minutes and turn it back on.
Sprint tech could find nothing wrong with battery/ charging port.
This has been doing it since it got Android 6.0 . (Lollipop)

you mean marshmallow 6.0? i turned it off and decided not to use for a couple of mins the estimated charging time spike back to normal chargibg time but then when i removed it it stuck again in "collecting battery info" and the charging is still taking so long, i tried different charger and cable but still the same i think its a system problem

How's the battery life when you do unplug it? If it seems to be going through the battery quicker than normal, that and slow charging combined likely mean the battery is going bad.

What about tethering to a computer? If you do that and it seems to have trouble connecting, or giving you disconnect notices when you move the phone about or wiggling the cable, then it's likely a port related issue with the phone itself.

Sounds like it's safe to rule out the cable and charger as being the issue. If it's not the above symptoms, then my guess is a bad connection somewhere else in the charging circuit of the phone.

thanks for info guys, now ive finally pinpoint the the problem, it happened that the 2 cables i tested was having the same problem, i purchased a new remax micro usb cable around 200peso (4$) and its working fine now, at first im having thought to buy new battery good decision because i bought cable first. thanks guys!
