LG G5 Touch Screen Fail

[AC Question]

Hi,

my LGG5 suddenly got frozen while I was on vacation. I tried to follow the hard reset procedure (power + volume down), but it didnt show the system recovery mode screen. Instead it came to the secure start up screen, but then I could not scroll my pattern to login.

Further, unsure whether this happens with the touch screen sensors, cannot recognize any touch or my finger pressure.

thanks for the tips.
1. when it is on safe mode, i could not power off or power off/restart by pressing the screen button.
2. I tried to remove the battery and re-plugged in. Then tried to do hard reset. For some reasons, it didnt go to the recovery mode.

I suspect that this is a hardware problem with the touch screen sensor. If this is the case, is it complicated to repair?

Screen replacement is a relatively common repair, but the price can range from around $100 to $200, depending on the device and where you go.
