LG G6 - call services (voicemail) notification- not going away

[Android Central Question]

I have a LG G6 in India bought an year ago. Yesterday evening a call service notification appeared from nowhere and doesnt dissapear whatever i do. Now showing as New voicemail notification and still hanging on. I called my service provider- Airtel. They said my voicemail isnt activated yet. What to do?

You can have the voicemail "reset" from the provider you are with, call their tech support.
