LG G6 - Camera shots! Show us your pictures

Those have got to be edited? They are amazing....

Thanks!

Yes, there is always room for a little snapseeding to adjust the colors and light.

I'm coming from a Nexus 5x. There is much lesser need to do post processing with the G6.
It was however possible to do more processing with the images from the 5x. I think it is done for you in the G6 which is both good and bad (irreversible).

It is lovely to have the wide angle alternative.

Regarding blur. If you hold it still it will be okay. If you show a lot of moving objects indoor it probably better to go with a pixel. I have a 4 and 5 year old. The G6 is good enough regarding blur indoors for me but I wont be getting those jumping around shots.

Had to downsize resolution. Seen these little guys while I was out cutting firewood.

In pro mode isn't there 'pro mode with auto help' and a pro mode with no auto influence'?

Think that got covered in a Sakitech video

Manual mode, very dark, detail is amazing!

So from what I gather looking through 90% of this thread, if I want to snap pics of my kids running around my back yard, regardless of the lighting, this isn't the camera to use. But for still shots, it's excellent in great light, and mediocre to solid in low light.

Sound about right?

Pretty much. Definitely hugely improved in good light even for motion shots of the kids etc

Frustrating. I like everything else about this phone (only had it a couple of days). But I have 3 kids. Even still shots tend to have a little motion, and sometimes they're indoors and not in the best light. It sounds like if they even bat an eyelash in medium light, the pic is going to come out poor (hyperbole, I know).

Always a compromise somewhere... I don't want to go to the S8, I don't like that form factor. But the camera is a relatively high priority to me, all else being equal. And while I'm sure I can get great shots with the G6, if the shots of my kids end up being disappointing half the time, then the other great shots are almost meaningless.
