Android Central Question
Hey, so on Sunday my phone was on my snow boarding gloves, that just so happened to slip into the sink as I was washing my hands. The phone didn't get soaked, but got a bit damp. I didn't think anything of it as it's in an otterbox case and the only thing that got wet was the screen (ie water got between the protecting screen and the real phone screen, it also happens when it rains). Fast forward a few hours, and when I go to charge my phone it keeps popping up that water was in the charging port. Managed to get it to charge when the phone was off. Turned it back on and everything was fine, a bit slow but I put that to my boyfriends crappy wifi. Anyways, turn it back off after I try to charge it again and it gives the message that water is present. When I turn it back on my background is back to default (not my lockscreen). Didn't think anything of it, thought it had reset and picked a random photo. Anyways, fast forward to today and I go to check out an old concert, and alllll of my camera photos are gone. The whole album just poofed. I managed to recover most of them by going to the trash folder, but all of my most recent videos are gone (including the one I got on Saturday night, and one's that I took in October, while some are still there?). I choked because REZZ & Deadmau5 are two of my favorite artists and now I have no pictures of their show... Does anyone know how I can recover these files?
No, I did not have google drive activated as it's a newer phone and just activated it now trying to find my files.
