My forum posts are usually long so I'll keep this short and sweet.

I had an OS update sitting as a notification at the top of my screen for a few months. I never bothered updating because the phone was working great.

I decided to download it a few days ago noticing my security patch was from April or May? I had 2 more updates following that one. My battery life has taken a plunge. It's absolutely horrible compared to how I received the G6 out of the box. Anyway to roll it back?

It took 2% just to type this post

Just wait a couple of days, hard reset.. And roll out 😁 i get 5-7h of SoT few times i even had 8+ with latest update...

I've done that already. it's been a week. 41% in 3 hours is never normal.

Any new apps you put on ? And can u post screenshoot of your screen on time ?

It's ever since the update

Update: ohh didn't saw you posted..
This is not screen on time from 100% battery charge ?

What did you do in that 3 hours? If your screen was on most of the time, then that makes sense. According to your battery stats you had been on battery for over 19 hours.

This. Looks like you got 20 hours on your first screen shot, then on your second one you already had 4 hours screen on time with 41% of your battery remaining. That's pretty stellar battery life if you ask me.

but it's not right. my phone was on and off the charger.
If both of those screenshots are after days worth of trickle charging, then it's pointless for us to guess what is wrong. Post a few screen shots after a full 100% to 10% drain.

It aint always perfect for me either... @20% battery currently.

I might sound like a broken record, but after back to back updates, I would do a factory reset. once that is done, set the phone up like you just took it out of the box. your phone is probably infested with gnomes.
