LG G6 - "Power Supply" Notification When Nothing Plugged into Device

As my device is sitting here, a notification occasionally pops up saying "Power Supply" as if a USB connection is present even though nothing is plugged into the device. When this happens, the phone will make a sound. This has been happening for around a couple of days now and I can't get it to stop.

My first thought is dirty USB port (shorting out contacts and thus confusing the phone about what is going on). I use the end of a small nylon cable tie (zip tie) to clean mine out when needed. If that doesn't help you could have a hardware problem.
