The only thing that would make this relevant is if LG adds AI features that are present on the V30 ThinQ and G7 ThinQ to the G6.

Still waiting on that 8.0 and camera update.

One has to wonder what they are thinking (and drinking) over there. They do so many things that just make no sense.

So wait... is the G6 ThinQ the same phone as the original G6? Or did they refresh somehow? I'm confused.

Is that how you pronounce it? I'd been wondering if "Thin Q" was indeed how one pronounced it.

They pronounced it Thin Q but I just thought sense it has smarter features that the pronunciation "Think" makes more sense in my opinion.

Oreo Updates are hitting the streets through some carriers, Verizon and I think a Canadian carrier. No word on any improved or new AI features in the update.

From my understanding, ThinQ is LG's line of smart devices across all their products, so they weren't going to use something different for their phones. I'm also guessing it's a cultural thing that sounded cool to the advertising people in Korea, but it just doesn't sound cool in English.

As far as AI features going to the G6, I reached out to LG through the Quick help concierge, and the person who helped me said the carriers would decide what updates the phones would receive, and I guess that includes AI too.
