I had bought one from Slickwraps and didn't care for it because it would attract every piece of lint in the small cracks. It was the more expensive wood one from them too. I only bought it because I used a 40% off promotion.
I get the reasoning behind the "curved" edges - I have a solid wood case and they made no attempt to mimic the curve of the phone, which makes it a brick - but I think those little cracks would drive me crazy. I'm glad to hear your experience with the Slickwraps - and this version looks like it would be even worse in that regard. I guess there's tradeoffs for everything

Yeah, those will do that.... But I guess it's a price to pay for wood.
I had one of these on my Nexus 6 back in the day and the wood they use is really good quality. And the adhesive too... oh my... that sucker bonds at the nuclear level. If you get one and go to apply it, you got once chance and one chance only. If you so much as touch the tiniest bit of your phone with it, it's stuck... and getting it off, even with that little contact, risks damaging the wood veneer.
But you are right, the cracks catch gunk like nobodies business.
