Looks like Att might have the best deal. Free LG G8 and $200 visa card if preorder online on a new line. I'll need to add a new line next year, so this might be worth it to start early.

I like the T-Mobile deal.
$620 for the new phone and a trade-in knocks it off by $310 more.
I am hoping that Costco has this deal with $50 off bringing the phone down to $570-$310 = $260.
A cheap iPhone 7 for trade in can be found for $180 on eBay.

Choosing a carrier because of the phone may work - but if that carrier doesn't have coverage where you need coverage, the phone will be useless.

Choose the carrier(s) first, based on which one(s) has (have) the coverage you need, then choose among the phones they're offering.

Actually, it's two lines for $30/line (at least where I live). $60 total, all fees and taxes included. It's almost worth getting old for.

Wow here in Europe we have 0 deals. maybe 1st 100 buyers regardless of brand get some smarth wathces but that's it. Il try to compare prices i was LG user for a long time but i decided to skip G8 and get the P30p and i got it for 200$ and around 42$ per month on 2 years contract in T-com.

Oh and yeah the g8 still havent arrived in europe of course. Why would he. -.-"

I just jumped on Best Buy's 24 month upgrade deal for $13.33 mo. (Sprint) I can pay it off after the 3rd month and own it free and clear. Do the math!

Upgrade from a LG V20. The V20 served me well for 2 yrs and 5 months. My G8 is only a few hours old, but I like it so far. Still setting it up.

Took advantage of the TMO 6T trade in offer this weekend and am now the proud owner of the G8. So far I love the phone and I'm glad to have wireless charging, AOD and other features that the 6T was missing.
