I've never seen one before so I did some searching and learned it's a Madagascan moon moth (also called Comet Moth).

Not native to the U.S. but apparently can be raised in captivity so maybe that explains it.

The resting wingspan on this one was about 3 1/2 inches across so it was fairly large.

It's a Luna moth (unless you live in Madagascar).

$200 refurbished. My last LG was the G5. I kinda can't wait until it arrives. Since I'm talking about it, I was thinking about my old LG G4 this morning. Great phone before it boot looped. I miss that phone.
