Flossy Carter's unboxing made me interested in this phone. How is it for you guys so far?

Dang ATT. I had to return my phones because they couldn't get the phones with reserved numbers activated. Man, LG gets no luck. Great phone yet poor support from the carriers. Luckily, there was a store near which had some in stock, so I just re-ordered online and picked up a new one within 2 hours. Now everything works fine, but such a pain from ATT.

As for the phone, it's great!! I've used it both with and without the dual screen case. The second screen is fun to use. Having two apps opened at the same time saves so much time. No more switching back and forth if I need to use two apps at once. It's just there. The middle hinge doesn't bother me since I don't need to expand any apps for both screens. The size is the main issue. It's big. I don't think I would use it everyday, but maybe it becomes my weekend device. Battery life is still good with the dual screen case since you can turn off the dual screen function.

As for the phone itself, nothing to complain about. It works great like a flagship phone. Highlight is the battery life. It is awesome. I'm a medium user. Phone off the charger at 6am and back to the charger around 10:30pm. Most phones I get about 3-4 hours SOT with about 20-30% battery life remaining. Last night I had 4 hours SOT with 60% batter remaining. I feel like this is better then Huawei Mate 9 (my last great battery life phone).

Yes and no. Microsoft's remote desktop app won't span across both screens on its own. However, there is an app that will allow almost any app to use both screens.

G8x WideMode. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.refy.android.g8x.widemode

This app adds an option to Quick Settings. First, start Microsoft Remote Desktop. Then connect to the remote computer. Then swipe down and tap the WideMode button. The desktop will switch to the top screen. Then use pinch to zoom to enlarge the screen to cover both screens. The phone must be in landscape mode as this doesn't work in portrait mode.
