LG GVista

Hello I am new to android Central but have been an avid android user for a while. I purchased a LG Gvista from At&t and since getting it my location settings work fine but GPS does not, I've tried different apps but all they do is lock my location then it says I am not moving when I am and does not tell me when to turn. At&t couldn't figure it out, any ideas I use GPS everyday and need this to work ASAP thank you

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry for the basic question, but when you go to Settings>Location, what level of accuracy is it set to? High Accuracy, Battery Saving, or Device Only?

It says High Accuracy so I'm not sure would Sensors be better? Thank you for the Reply

Install GPS Status & Toolbox. Watch the settings as you move. It should show you exactly what's happening. (The GPS could be stopping and just sending the last location over and over. If the satellites don't change in about an hour, or you change location by a few miles and the app only reports the change if you close it and run it again, the GPS receiver in the phone is bad.)

High Accuracy should be involving the GPS radio. I agree with Rukbat.

Great! What exactly did you do that seemed to make the GPS function normally again?

I'm not sure, I couldn't figure out the app, but the GPS app you guys told me of it automatically runs when I run google maps and it seems to make it work.
