LG K30... Which micro-usb to HDMI cord?

[Android Central Question]

I have a LG K30... Which micro-usb to HDMI cord will be compatible and work with my K30. There a ton of products that I guess only work or compatible with certain cell phones. It has me over whelmed. If I could have specific products preferably on Amazon that would work with the K30 that would be a big help.. but if thats a forum "no-no" than please generalize it enough to where i can catch your drift. Thank you

Welcome to Android Central! It doesn't appear that the K30 supports Slimport, which is the main USB-to-HDMI adapter standard that tended to be associated with LG: SlimPort supported devices. (The other standard is MHL, which was only for really old LG phones.)

I can't quite tell from the specs online, but your phone has a microUSB-A port, not a USB-C port, right?

The K30 is a Type C connector. Chromecast would probably be the best bet.

GSMArena. That's always my goto for specs. https://www.gsmarena.com/lg_k30-9190.php It's 2.0, but it's Type C.

But look at the 1:30 time mark in the video -- the shape of that port is microUSB-A, not C, isn't it? Notice how it's asymmetrical.
